Recent news suggests that, the Abbey Line from Watford Junction to St.Albans Abbey will become a metro line in 2011. Therefore I believed it was essential that I had a ride on the line, 321411 providing the haulage.

The final ever day of the historic Blackpool trams to operate from Pleasure Beach to Fleetwood, it brings an era to an end which dominated Blackpool for many years, the line is to shut until April 2010 en-which new modern trams shall operate along the line

First trip out in 2 months to enjoy the sun, copped 60077 and then went to Norton Bridge in the evening to see new DRS 66's en-route to Carlisle Kingmoor from Newport Docks

A trip to cop my last DRS loco 66416, was also treated to 37510 and 20303 with 20314 light loco moves

90047 liner at Heamies Farm on 10th July, 90021 in Scotrail livery at Stone and freight at Stafford between 2.50pm and 4.50pm

A great day at Kingmoor with 20's, 37's, 47's, 57's,and 66's on show to very lucky guests. New liveries and trains also on show with charters at Carlisle with 66411,66405 top and tail 47501 and also 6233 on a steam charter from Liverpool Lime Street

A day out to Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Nottingham, Grantham, Peterborough, Leicester and returning to Derby, a mixed day weather wise but some nice workings to photograph

20301 and 20305 both to and from Oxley to collect DRS mk 3's, 37605 heading towards Crewe, 60035 on RMC and many other freight using DRS,EWS and Freightliner

A day out shopping with mum gave me the opportunity to photograph in the rain in Lichfield

A day out to Tamworth, Rugby, Nuneaton, Bescot and Stafford with a return in the evening to photgraph 67's returning from Ascot

A hot afternoon gave me the opportunity to go to my favourite spot on the WCML Heamies Farm, the slow lines were shut resulting in a great opportunity for photos of freight on the fast lines. Highlight was 60036 on engineers, also placks at Stone are shown

A trip to Crewe to see 6233 on 5Z12, 57601 on 5Z13, 31190 ON 0Z13 and 67018 at Stafford on 1Z18

A great convoy at Southampton Central, despite the poor weather and having tonsilitis it was an opportunity not to be missed

A great day out to York and Hull from Southampton with a 5.45am start and a midnight finish with 47805, 37603 and 37604 haulage throughout the day

2416 on last ever 442 in SWT livery to pass through Southampton Central at 12.33pm heading for store at Eastleigh....R.I.P

A trip around Southampton to have a look at Maritime, Millbrook, Central station and the bridge West of Central station. Highlights include 31106 and 31190 on serco test train, 1498 slammer on turning trip and 73201 light engine
